Hi all, you probably saw all the news about global leaders gathering in Switzerland a few days ago. I was thrilled to perform for the opening ceremonies of the AMTD Center! This year AMTD joins World Economic Forum as the first HK company in Davos, so I played some remixes I made of famous Chinese songs while reminding everyone to stick with their commitment and the mission statement of World Economic Forum; “Improving the state of the world”.

On January 24th, Dana Leong opened the “AMTD•Hong Kong Night” with a breathtaking performance that was organised by AMTD, a financial institution joining the World Economic Forum as the first Hong Kong company. The event was held concurrently with the 48th World Economic Forum in Davos.

1月24日，Dana Leong以惊人的表演来展开世界经济论坛合作伙伴中的第一个港资金融机构尚乘集团成功举办的“尚乘•香港之夜”。这个会议与第48系列世界经济达沃斯年会期间同时举办。

The World Economic Forum is an annual meeting held in Switzerland, Davos, where top ranking government, business and cultural icons with the same vision gather to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world. This year’s conference titled ‘Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World’, aims to get leaders to uphold their commitment and mission statement to improve the state of the world.

世界经济论坛是一个每年在达沃斯举行的旗舰活动。世界各地的自政界，商业与文化代表聚集在一起讨论全球重点问题。今年论坛年会的主题是“在分化的世界中打造共同命运”，并推动领导人维护他们对改善世界的承诺和使命。

This is the first time in 50 years that Hong Kong has been the theme for the World Economic Forum. The annual meeting celebrated Hong Kong’s 20 years of development and achievements, and also discussed about the need for enterprises, entrepreneurs and global partners to cooperate to build the future of Hong Kong.

这是世界经济论坛达沃斯年会举办近50年来，第一次以“香港”为主题。这个年会回归了香港20年来取得的发展与辉煌成就，并为香港的未来讨论了企业、企业家于世界各地伙伴合作的必要性。

Dana Leong being a musician, composer and producer, is also a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. He is the man behind TEKTONIK, an artist collective uniting creative talents that focuses on the healing power of music & art.

The band played remixes of famous Chinese music during the Crystal Awards honoring artists for their social contributions to the world.

TEKTONIK has been supporting disaster relief since 2011. The initiative blends the future and past of music to create an inspirited sensory experience to comfort and support victims of natural disasters.
