Privacy Policy
This notice explains what happens to information when you visit tektonikmusic.org. It describes the site as it actually works today. If that changes, this page changes with it.
Who we are
TEKTONIK Music is a music label and collective founded by Dana Leong. This website is tektonikmusic.org. You can reach us at contact@tektonikmusic.org.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run advertising on this site. We do not load analytics or advertising trackers. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which record things like the address of the page requested, the time, the browser type and an IP address. Those logs exist so the site can be kept running and secure, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies
A small number of cookies are strictly necessary, which means the site cannot work properly without them. They do things like remember your cookie choice so you are not asked again on every page. You can set your preferences through the cookie notice when it appears, and you can change them later in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Music players and video links
Some pages carry a Spotify player. When you press play, Spotify loads its own player and applies its own privacy policy and its own cookies, which we neither set nor read. The same is true of links out to YouTube, Apple Music and other streaming services. If you would rather not share anything with those companies, do not press play and do not follow those links.
If you write to us, we keep your message and your address so we can reply, and for as long as we need it to deal with whatever you wrote about. We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Your choices
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. Write to contact@tektonikmusic.org and we will deal with it.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this notice
If the site starts doing something new with information, for example if analytics or a mailing list is added, this page will be updated before that happens or as soon as practicable afterwards.
